Finish the IR inspection and the report at the same time
A thermal survey is really two jobs. The first happens in the field with a camera. The second happens back at a desk: matching images to asset names, retyping the notes you scribbled on site, comparing readings against limits, and assembling all of it into something a maintenance file will accept.
FOTRIC puts roughly 90 percent of an inspector's time during inspections into that second job. It is also where the record gets thin. Images that never got tied to an asset. Findings nobody assigned a severity. Surveys that were done and never written up.
NaviPdM moves that work onto the camera.
What ProgUSA brings
We have supplied electrical test and measurement equipment to utilities, NETA firms, and industrial accounts since 2005. FOTRIC is one of our lines, and we support it the way we support the rest: application help before the order, demonstrations on your own equipment, sample reports, and calibration and service in the United States.

What NaviPdM does
Diagnoses on the spot
Point the camera at an asset you have inspected before and it populates the temperature measurement boxes over the components. It then runs the pass/fail check itself, against the criteria you selected: delta-T between like points, or an absolute temperature limit. Standard thermography criteria are already encoded, including the NETA Maintenance Testing Specifications tables and NFPA 70B. Comparing three phases of like equipment on the same circuit is the case it was built around.
The practical result is that every technician inspects to the same criteria, whether they have been doing this for twenty years or six months.
Writes the report
One clean page per image, generated by the camera. A 50-image survey saves as a single 50-page file. Format, layout and logo are yours, so what comes out matches the report your organization already issues. Build reports manually instead if you prefer; the option stays open.
Records the asset without a clipboard
Scan a QR code on the cabinet, or enter the asset once digitally. Import your whole asset list from Excel if you already have one. Build the list as the inspection goes if you do not. And if the route runs faster than the bookkeeping, shoot everything first and link the images to assets afterward.
Keeps the history
Trend graphs build from the inspection data itself, so repeat surveys become a maintenance record you can act on rather than a folder of images. Inspectors working the same site sync between devices.
Works inside your IT rules
No wireless required. Images and finished reports write to the SD card and move to any computer behind your firewall. Where IT allows it, reports upload from the camera straight over the network. One utility customer sends every report that way today.
See it running
Left side is an ordinary thermal camera. Right side is the same shot with NaviPdM: measurement boxes placed automatically, diagnosis already assigned.
What it runs on
NaviPdM is native to the FOTRIC P-series thermal cameras, including the P5 and P7, and the P5MiX and P7MiX AcouTherm models that add 162-channel acoustic imaging for partial discharge and gas leak detection. It also runs on the H-series acoustic cameras. One software environment covers a mixed fleet.
The licensing question, answered up front
NaviPdM is the only FOTRIC software that costs anything. You buy it once and it is enabled on the camera. After that, install the PC software on as many machines as you want at no additional cost.
AnalyzIR, MagicThermal and IRExplore are free.
See it on your own gear
Bring us a panel, a switchgear lineup, or a motor list you already inspect. We will run NaviPdM against it and show you the report that comes out.
