Digital DC Hipot Testers

The 800PL-HD Series combines DC withstand testing with insulation resistance and polarization index measurement in one wheeled field case. Models 840PL-HD (40kV) and 880PL-HD (80kV), both at 10mA, with a 7-inch touchscreen, internal memory and HIPODirect wireless transfer. Rated for long duty cycle at one hour on, one hour off, for cable, switchgear, motors, generators and lift equipment.​  Key capabilities:

• 40 kV or 80 kV DC output at 10 mA — models 840PL-HD and 880PL-HD

Bucket Truck Leakage Current Meters

  The LCM-W measures and monitors leakage current on bucket truck and aerial lift booms during dielectric testing. The meter mounts on the truck while the operator works from the bucket, so the 5-inch screen reads from over 30 feet away and the alarm is configurable up to 100 dBA. New from Hipotronics for 2026.
