Who We Are: Supporting the U.S. Power Industry for 20 Years Start writing here...

ProgUSA exists for one reason: to help U.S. power utilities use diagnostic tools correctly, confidently, and over the long term.

Founded in 2005, we work alongside utility teams who operate under tight outage windows, strict documentation requirements, and real consequences when data is unclear. We're not here to deliver equipment. We're here to help teams apply it well.

Our Purpose

Utilities don't work in controlled environments. Testing is rarely routine. Crews rotate. Experience walks out the door. Data volumes grow while timelines shrink.

In that reality, owning the right tool is only the starting point.

ProgUSA bridges the gap between advanced diagnostic technology and real-world utility application. We connect proven global manufacturers with practical, U.S.-based support that reflects how work actually happens in the field. That includes application guidance, training, and service coordination designed to help teams trust their results and stand behind their decisions.

What We Do

We represent a focused group of manufacturers whose products deliver diagnostic value in utility environments. Our solutions support core utility diagnostics, including transformers, breakers, batteries, SF₆ systems, imaging, power quality, HiPot testing, and EMF measurement.

We don't aim to offer everything. We aim to offer what works.

Our team provides technical guidance, not order-taking. We help utilities select tools based on application. We explain capabilities and limitations clearly. We share field-aligned insight rooted in how testing programs actually operate. The right tool is rarely a spec-sheet decision. It's a program decision tied to safety, repeatability, and confidence in results.

We support training and demonstrations because owning equipment doesn't guarantee effective use. Our goal is to shorten the gap between purchase and proficiency.

We coordinate service and lifecycle support through our U.S.-based Florida operation. This includes calibration coordination, repair coordination, and technical assistance. When testing programs depend on reliable instruments, lifecycle support becomes part of reliability.

Who We Serve

We serve investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, and utility service providers across the United States.

Within those organizations, we work with substation engineers, field technicians, maintenance teams, asset managers, and engineering leaders. These are the people who plan testing programs, interpret results, and make decisions that affect system performance every day.

Our role is to support those decisions with the right equipment and the expertise to apply it safely and consistently.

Our Approach

How we work matters as much as what we offer.

We lead with education, not transactions. We focus on understanding needs, constraints, and applications before recommending solutions. Informed decisions reduce risk.

We build long-term partnerships. Success isn't measured by a single order. It's measured by whether a utility team can rely on us through staffing changes, program shifts, and evolving requirements.

We rely on 20 years of field experience. That experience builds practical knowledge: how outage pressure shapes decisions, why documentation discipline matters, and where teams get stuck when results are unclear. Our guidance is practical, not theoretical.

We stay involved after delivery. Support doesn't end when equipment ships. We remain engaged through training, application support, and service coordination for the life of the instrument.

What We Stand For

ProgUSA is built on consistency, technical credibility, and follow-through.

We represent equipment chosen for reliability and diagnostic value. We invest in expertise that helps teams use tools correctly. We stay accessible when conditions are demanding. We earn trust through repeatable support, not promises.

After 20 years serving U.S. utilities, that approach remains unchanged. As the industry evolves, we'll continue to evolve with it while staying focused on what has always mattered most:

Helping utility teams do critical work with clarity, confidence, and dependable support.
