CHK Power Quality Miro PQ45 

The CHK Power Quality Miro PQ45, 600VACrms, Three Phase Power Quality Logger and Analyzer is a Class A, CAT IV 600V, four voltage channel (3P + Ground + N), high precision, weatherproof (NEMA4X) instrument that offers comprehensive power quality measurements, including Voltage Sags, Swells, Interruptions, Flicker, THD, Harmonics, Interharmonics, Temperature, Frequency, Mains Signaling, Power and Energy and Ground voltages. The Miro PQ45 is powered by the circuit being measured and can also be powered by an external DC supply, using the adapter provided that can be plugged into a 115VAC outlet.


Waveform and RMS captures can be generated, using various triggers, e.g. rate of change of voltage (dv/dt), sliding reference, and instantaneous voltage and current values. Alarm lists can be generated when set thresholds are exceeded.


The Miro PQ45 is WIFI enabled, with optional integrated remote cellular communications and comes with various communications protocols, including DNP3, MQTT and TCP-IP.


The Miro PQ45 is the instrument of choice for comprehensive power quality monitoring, and is ideal for compliance reporting and energy audits. Automatic report generation is available, e.g., IEC519-Standard for Harmonics and NEC220.87-Connected Load Survey.

CHK Power Quality Miro PQ45-1k 

The Miro PQ45-1k, 1000VACrms, DC powered Three Phase Power Quality Logger and Analyser is a Class A, CAT IV 600V, four voltage channel (3P + Ground + N), high precision, weatherproof (NEMA4X) instrument that offers comprehensive power quality measurements, including Voltage Sags, Swells, Interruptions, Flicker, THD, Harmonics, Interharmonics, Temperature, Frequency, Mains Signalling, Power and Energy and Ground voltages. It is designed especially for use in renewable energy (e.g. PV, wind) where higher rated output voltages are expected, e.g. 690VAC for wind turbine generators. The Miro PQ45-1k is powered by an external DC supply, using the adapter provided that can be plugged into a GPO.


All other features and capabilities are identical to the Miro PQ45.

Miro-F Series of Transformer Monitors and Loggers

The IP66 rated Miro-F series of transformer monitors and loggers are designed for distribution transformer monitoring and offer comprehensive monitoring, including three phase voltages, currents, temperatures, THD and Flicker, with various secure communications protocols, e.g. TCP-IP, Dyn DNS, FTP, DNP3 and MQTT.

It has integrated remote cellular communications (3G/4G and optional Ethernet) and is ideal for large scale deployment.

Large scale network monitoring solutions utilising the Miro-F instruments can be implemented to provide network engineers with accurate data for planning, operations, maintenance and network modelling purposes. All data can collected and analysed by AsMoSys, a CHK PQ proprietary database solution.

  • Weatherproof enclosure – IP66.
  • AC voltage and current measurements.
  • Surface and ambient temperature probes.
  • Expansion port (optional) allows for system expansion to include additional sensors, input/output controls and custom interfaces which broaden the Miro-F system platform (Miro Auxiliary I/O module required). Typical interfaces include DGA, Hydrogen and Bushing monitors.
